Fenix HL30 2018

The Fenix HL30 2018 is an updated version of the popular AA powered head torch. The light has a maximum output of 300 lumens from the Cree XP-G3 white and is powered by 2 x AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH).

The headlamp features five brightness levels, providing well-spaced outputs with long runtimes of up to 340 hours! The HL30 2018 has an SOS mode for emergency situations, plus a constant and flashing red output. The light is operated by dual switches, General and Functional, which are positioned on the top of the torch. 

The HL30 head torch offers a wide range floodlight illumination, with a 20º hotspot and 80º flood beam angle. This allows for a wide illuminated angle for close range viewing with a soft and smooth beam effect. The headlamp is made from high quality plastic, making the headlamp lightweight and easy to carry. The light sits on a mount with a 60º tilt mechanism to ensure the beam is positioned exactly as required.

High: 130 lumens - 9 hrs runtime
Mid: 70 lumens - 41 hrs runtime
Low: 30 lumens - 71 hrs runtime
Eco: 4 lumens - 200 hrs runtime

Using 2 x NiMH AA batteries
Turbo: 300 lumens - 7 hrs runtime
High: 130 lumens - 12 hrs runtime
Mid: 70 lumens - 35 hrs runtime
Low: 30 lumens - 65 hrs runtime
Eco: 4 lumens - 200 hrs runtime

Plus SOS (30 lumens), Red (1 lumen) and Red Flash (1 lumen).

Operation

• Press and hold the General switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on in General mode, repeat to turn off. Single click the General switch to cycle through the modes, in order Eco>Low>Mid>High>Turbo.
• Press and hold the Functional switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the light in Functional mode, repeat to turn off. Single click the Functional switch to cycle through, in order Red>SOS>Red Flash.
• To enter either General or Functional mode when in the opposite mode, single click the switch for the desired mode.
• When on, press and hold both switches simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter Lockout mode. To unlock, press and hold both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Maximum beam distance 50 meters, waterproof to IP67 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meter.
