The Fenix BC30R V2.0 (2017) bike light is an updated version of the original BC30R, providing more power, longer runtimes and a longer throw. The V2.0 version has a maximum output of 1800 lumens from the 2 x Cree XM-L2 U2 neutral white LED and is powered by a built-in 5200mAh rechargeable battery.
The BC30R V2.0 has a neutral white LED which provides good colour rendering and will cut through fog on your cycle ride. The light has 120º wide range floodlight to ensure your path is illuminated, without shining into other road users eyes as the beam is refracted to ground level.
The Fenix cycle light has a newly upgraded remote pressure switch which allows basic operation with no need to move your hand away from the handlebar.
The bike light features a digital OLED display screen which ensures you can clearly read the remaining runtime at the current output level and the battery percentage, making sure you're never caught out in the dark. The operation interface is made up of three backlit switch for clear and easy operation.
Brightness Levels:
Burst: 1800 lumens
High: 1000 lumens - 2 hrs 40 mins runtime
Mid: 400 lumens - 7 hrs 20 mins runtime
Low: 150 lumens - 16 hrs 10 mins runtime
Eco: 50 lumens - 36 hrs runtime
Plus Flash mode (150 lumens).
Maximum beam distance 161 meters, waterproof to IP66 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meters.
Operation
- Press and hold the image icon for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on and off.
- When on, double click the image icon to enter Flash mode.
- When on, click the '+' button to enter a higher level and '-' for a lower level.

| Very good brightness and battery life. Very good bike mount, and digital display of remaining battery. Light beam focus could be better, a bit too much of a flood light beam better suited to shorter distances and slow riding, than a focused spot-light type beam better suited to greater distances and higher speed. | |
